Blue & Gold Dinner takes place on a Sunday in February, the purpose of the dinner is for Webelos II to crossover to Boy Scouts. For 2019 use sign up genius to get more parental involvement. Setup help was needed in 2018.
August: Reserve Location. Centerville Mills Dining hall. Be sure to reserve from 1pm to 7pm.
December: Ensure Scoutlander is updated with date/time for dinner and send a broadcast with the date and time. Committee meets to start planning phase of the dinner, need to decorate tables, decide on food and beverages, update program. Have Cubmaster notify Dale Olson (Boy Scout Troop 102) of date and time.
January: Contact Caterer. Highly recommend Alesci's (2018/19 Caterer). See attached invoice for ordering.
With about 125 People you can do:
2 (not 3) Full Sheet Pizza (Cheese)
2 Full Sheet PIzza (Pepperoni)
4 or even 3 Full pans Penne Pasta
4 Toss Garden Salad (comes with dressing)
13 Garlic Bread (Could get away with 10)
25 Pounds Meatballs (Could change it up and do chicken, they have a lot of options) We ran out of meatballs in 2019 would be nice to do more rather than more pasta.
There were leftovers. Could possibly do 4 or 3 pans Penne? Check the numbers of RSVP compare to 2019.
Early Feb: Final prep is done, awards are ordered, decorations complete and number reported to caterer.

2019 cakes were purchased from Costco. Cake was $18.99 for 1/2 sheet. Ordered 4 cakes, could do 3.
There is a tote with Blue and Gold decorations, extra tablecloths, paper supplies, etc, behind the stage at the Townhall.
Ask Council for placemats!!!
Plan on 125-150 people.
